  Led 4 to 5 engineering managers and around 30 people across development, QA, DevOps and architecture. I inherited six e-commerce platforms spread across internal teams, a Berlin office and several nearshore partners, then consolidated them into two. Annual costs fell from €4M to €3M, page loads halved, the SLO remained at 99.99%, and e-commerce GMV grew 10 to 20% a year. I also put RAG/CAG and a self-hosted fine-tuned Gemma into production, developed an agentic-commerce strategy and compared AI options for customer support, including Danish voice support, Zendesk and Intercom.

  Managing director of a new SGEF subsidiary. Built a digital factory from zero in under six months, hiring 20 to 30 people with full delegation over hiring, a ~€2.5M budget, suppliers and roadmap. Shipped a risk engine using computer vision (including OCR) and ML that cut credit analysis from about two weeks to a day, and a client portal for contracts and repayments.

  Engineering Manager, Innovation & Developer Experience

  Ran two groups, an innovation lab and developer experience, around 30 people on a €2 to €3M budget. The YODA support assistant, a single point of contact for 150,000 employees before ChatGPT, computer vision including OCR on Tesseract, Pepper robots, IoT predictive maintenance, the PSD2 API platform and a central API catalog, and cloud, AWS and open-source adoption.

• 2015

  Lead Developer

  Société Générale, Paris

  Led full-stack teams building internal applications, including an investor-relations application that won two 2016 awards (the Prix du Digital, shareholder relations, and a DFIN innovation prize). Introduced Clean Code, TDD, Agile and Lean.

• 2011–2014

  Full-stack Engineer

  Sopra Banking & Ministry of Agriculture, Toulouse

  Critical card-payment systems (issuing, acquiring, clearing) on Java EE and Oracle under PCI-DSS, and a contribution to the Sopra Banking Software rebranding. Then an offline-first field app (Spring MVC, PostgreSQL, AngularJS) for the Ministry's roaming inspectors: offline capture, route optimisation, and conflict-managed sync.
